Julie Hale Biog
Julie started acting with Dublin Youth Theatre, she then studied Acting at Trinity College Dublin.
Additional studies include working with Uta Hagen at the Herbert Berghof Studio (New York), Scott Williams, Impulse Theatre (London) and with Tim Mc Donald at the New Theatre (Dublin).
Her Theatre work includes Old Times and Love in the Title with London Classic Theatre Company. Lovechild, Ceausescu’s Ear and Pericles all with Gerry Stembridge. Sunshine Boys at the Gate Theatre, Dublin Exiles by James Joyce at ‘The Friends of the Italian Opera Theatre’, Berlin. Irish National tour of Canaries. Abigail’s Party and The Gingerman at The New Theatre, Dublin. The Gingerman then transferred to the Irish Arts Centre, New York where she also performed in the New York premier of Red Roses and Petrol.
Her Film and Television work includes My Left Foot, Garrow’s Law , Ash Wednesday, W.C., Troubles, Black and White, When Brendan me Trudy, Flick, Black Day at Blackrock, Bobbie’s Girl, Bloom, The Bone Hunter and Raindogs.
Julie plays Terry Deegan in the Irish Soap Fair City and D.I. Amanda Rook in the Scottish Soap River City.
